All organisations must ensure by law that they have a sufficient number of employees who possess a first-aid qualification to fulfil their first-aid needs at all times. Employers must ensure that their provision is ‘adequate and appropriate in the circumstances.
Over the duration of this 3-day course, Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations. The course covers topics such as: incident assessment, managing unresponsive casualties, heart attacks, CPR and defibrillation, fractures, choking, head and spinal injuries, and anaphylaxis.
The additional Forestry First Aid element is a nationally recognised qualification that has been designed to provide Learners with the knowledge and skills needed to deal with emergency first aid situations in a forestry/agricultural context.
